Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well-sized with a beautiful view of the mountains, but unfortunately, they felt a bit small and cramped. The service was incredible, especially from staff members like Nico, Laurent, and Taffie who went above and beyond. The dining options were delicious but a bit chaotic, lacking some frills found in other hotels. The location was stunning, though the high price made me expect a bit more cleanliness. I enjoyed the stay but felt there were some areas for improvement.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely with lots of windows, a cantilever ceiling, a huge en-suite, and a welcoming gift of 1/2 litre of Prosecco and sweets. The king size bed was beautiful, although the bathroom was a bit small, but understandable in such a charming old building. The beds were of the highest quality and the room was clean and complete.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, but unfortunately, the road noise made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The service provided by Max, Sarah, Taffie, and a lovely staff member was exceptional, creating a memorable stay for us. The location was convenient, offering access to various attractions, but there were concerns about the hotel's future reputation. The dining experience at the Vermilion Restaurant was fantastic, especially for Gold customers.
The hotel offers gorgeous and spacious rooms with a breathtaking view of the valley, though I was allocated a lower quality room. The housekeeping team beautifully decorated my room, making my birthday stay special. The service was very accommodating despite some noise concerns. The location is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, providing sensational panoramic mountain vistas that are truly captivating.
Staying at this hotel felt like being in a castle, with shops matching those in town and breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and a serene river below until 5 pm. The service was incredibly helpful, especially from the bartender and staff, although the dining experience could have been more reasonably priced. The location was unparalleled, offering stunning scenery, warm pools, and top-notch dining options, with the bonus of being checked in by the wonderful Eliza. Overall, the hotel offers a divine experience with excellent character and amenities.
Staying on the Gold floor was huge because I could compare it to other cabins in Banff at higher rates. Our room on the 9th floor had some issues like a lamp without light, broken toilet, and noise from the ceiling fan and plumbing. However, the room size was great with ample cupboard space, especially being in a corner-type room.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The rooms had a spectacular view, were clean and spacious, and had all the necessary amenities, although it wasn't a luxury experience. The service was top-notch, with the staff being exceptionally friendly and efficient. The location was ideal, nestled in the glorious mountains of Banff, offering breathtaking views and easy access to town. The dining experience was fantastic, with plenty of choices and delicious offerings, although it came at a price. Overall, a wonderful stay with minor room for improvement in certain aspects.
The hotel has a warm and welcoming ambiance with nicely decorated rooms, but cleanliness issues required additional attention. The privacy was satisfying, but the air quality could be improved. The location offers stunning scenery views and family-friendly pools, albeit with some inconveniences. The dining experience ranged from regular to outstanding. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few areas for enhancement.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were so cozy and had the softest pillows and luxurious sheets. The view from the large windows was simply breathtaking. The service was top-notch, and the staff really went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The location was fantastic, nestled in a majestic mountain setting with easy access to everything. The dining experience was delightful, especially the variety of breakfast options. The facilities were excellent, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were small but had a stunning view of the mountains and skating rinks. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to compensate for inconveniences. The location, while beautiful, came with a hefty price tag. The dining options, though delicious, were considered overpriced. On the bright side, the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel is located just above the spectacular Bow Falls and offers breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel special, but the cleanliness standards could be improved for the high price paid.
